Economical Costumes

Pre-packaged costumes can be hauntingly expensive (insert terror-filled scream). So, why not piece together a thriftier ensemble? We put this to the test and created five costumes – all under $25* – at Savers, which is known for creating costumes on-the-cheap. In fact, at 3 p.m. on Thursdays in October, Savers hosts a demonstration on how to create a resale costume.
