5 Events for Father's Day Fun
Hey Pops, this Sunday, June 15 is just for you! Celebrate fatherhood and enjoy a fun-filled day with your little ones. This weekend is chock full of fishing events -- derbies, workshops and more -- for those who want to drop a line.
You'll also find tons of summer fun around town: Search for Sasquatch in Garvan Woodland Gardens newest exhibit; putt-putt at Little Rock's new mini golf course; jump around in Maumelle's new trampoline park; take the kids out for a scoop of ice cream; or enjoy a day at the water park.

Fathers Day Excursion on the Mark Twain Riverboat: Celebrate the special father in your life with a brunch and cruise on the Arkansas River. The first deck is climate-controlled for year-round comfort with large unobstructed panoramic windows. Father's Day Events at Degray Lake Resort State Park: Families are invited to celebrate Father's Day at Degray Lake. Fuel up at the Father's Day Lunch Buffet at Shoreline Restaurant. Then, attend one of the day's fun, free events, including a Youth Fishing Derby, a game of lawn bowling and a night hike. June 15. For info, click here.

Father's Day Sunset Canoe Float at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Explore the Big Maumelle River with dad as nighttime unfolds. Possible sights and sounds for the night include bats, coyotes, deer, owls, beaver...and maybe even the elusive alligator. Fee includes use of canoe, paddles, and lifejackets.
