Memorial Day is Monday (May 26), and we don't plan on wasting the three-day weekend! We've rounded up 10 ideas for family fun. From Riverfest fans to nature lovers, all families will have plenty of entertainment for the holiday weekend.

1. Riverfest sets up in downtown Little Rock, May 23-25! This year's lineup includes acts ranging from Salt-N-Pepa to Hank Williams Jr. Click here for the full schedule. 2. Big Rock Fun Park opens up their brand-new mini golf courses this weekend, too. The two courses each have 18 holes, and both include fun features, like a miniature replica of North Little Rock's Old Mill. 3. Museum of Discovery and Clinton Presidential Center offer visitors $5 entry all weekend, which gives families a great chance to visit the brand-new exhibits: "Mystery of the Mayan Medallion" at Museum of Discovery and "Chihuly"at the Clinton Center. The $5 admission offer will be valid May 23-26 at the Clinton Center and May 24-26, for the Museum of Discovery (the museum will be closed Friday, May 23). Museum of Discovery visitors on Memorial Day weekend will be treated to special programs, including "Awesome Science" and "Meet the Museum Animals." The programs will be presented in rotation every hour noon-4 p.m. May 24; 1-4 p.m. May 25; and noon-4 p.m. May 26. Plus, the Kazoobie Kazoo show featuring Rick Hubbard, ventriloquist Wayne Francis, BC Creatures and the Mabelvale Drum Line will also give weekend performances at the museum.

4. The Arkansas Travelers are in town for a weekend full of games at Dickey-Stephens Park. They will play Corpus Christi May 21-23 before they go up against San Antonio May 24-26. The early evening game at 5:30 p.m. on May 25 will conclude with fireworks. Plus, families get a discount on Sunday when they bring their church bulletin to the box office--the whole family can enter for just $10.

5. Pinnacle Mountain leads two kayaking and canoeing floats at the Little Maumelle Boat Launch this weekend. Both trips are 4.5 miles and are perfect for beginning paddlers. The Spring Kayak Float is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 24, and the Spring Canoe Float is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 25. On Memorial Day, families can visit the park for special activities, including free activities at the playground about wild turkeys (2-2:30 p.m.) and Arkansas' largest reptile (4-5 p.m.).

6. Water parks around central Arkansas will keep kiddos splashing this Memorial Day. Splash Zone in Jacksonville opens May 24, and Wild River Country and Magic Springs Water & Theme Park have already opened for the summer season. For more info about each, check out our water parks blog post here.

7. Hand in Hand: A Benefit Concert for Tornado Victims will serenade Simon Park in Conway on May 24. Local musicians have teamed up to raise funds for those affected by the April tornadoes. The music begins at 2 p.m. and continues through the evening with sets from local bands and performers. Handmade Moments will play at 8:30 p.m. and Wes Burnett Music will play the finale at 9:45 p.m. The concert is free, and donations will be accepted. For a full schedule, click here.

8. Pick your own berries at multiple farms around the state. Due to the late spring, some farms are still producing strawberries, and others are getting ready for their first batches of blueberries for Memorial Day weekend. 9. The USS Razorback submarine will host a picnic on its deck on May 25, and give visitors a front-row seat to see the Memorial Day fireworks show on the river. Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers and side dishes and hang out for the fireworks at 9 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum. Tickets are $25, and can be purchased at AIMMuseum.org.

10. Bass Pro Shops will host free workshops and activities for kids as part of their Go Outdoors event this weekend. On May 24-25, kids can enjoy several free hands-on activities including: BB Gun Shooting Range (11 a.m.-5 p.m.); Metal Detector Treasure Hunt (11 a.m.-5 p.m.); Adventure Scavenger Hunt to find conservation and wildlife items throughout the store (beginning at 11 a.m.); and a camping magnet craft (11 a.m.-5 p.m.). On May 24-25, kids will learn about camping and nature in several workshops. At 11 a.m., 1 & 4 p.m., they'll learn to explore their surroundings while camping; and at 2 & 3 p.m., youngsters can learn about being safe around water. For more info, click here.
