German Chocolate Pie at The Pie Shop at Terry's.

Good news, pastry lovers: there’s a new pie shop in town!

In honor of it being Pi Day, we thought it was only right to share the news of the newest sweet shop in Little Rock.

The Pie Shop at Terry’s, which is located inside Terry’s Finer Foods, 5018 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, opened Monday and owner Jacquelyn Pittman says business has been great in the first week.

The Pie Shop currently has eight varieties — all-American, nut, chocolate, fruit, seasonal, savory, quiche and special — in addition to some that are always available out of the freezer, including sausage egg and cheese, key lime, southwestern shepherd’s and chocolate peanut butter.

Whole pies are available for between $20-$32 and all slices are $3.99.

The Pie Shop is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., except Sunday when hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pittman said workers will be there stocking and interacting with customers between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. during regular business hour days.

Right now, the shop is not dine-in, but Pittman said she and her husband, Jeremy, have plans to make the area more of a shop with tables and chairs. The Pittmans, of Palette Catering and Event Planning, also run Pizzeria Santa Lucia.
