Big news! Magic Springs Water and Theme Park unveiled its highly anticipated concert series for the 2014 season Wednesday (March 12) and it looks to be rockin' good season.

The concert series will run most Saturdays beginning May 31 through Aug. 9 with headline acts beginning at 8 p.m.  Other local and regional acts will be added soon.

Here is the 2014 lineup:

• May 31 – Zendaya: She starred in the Disney series, “Shake it Up” and the movie “Frenemies.” She has charted hits including "Watch Me," a duet with her co-star Bella Thorne that charted on Billboard's Hot 100. She has also appeared on the hit series, “Dancing With the Stars,” at the time, the youngest contestant to appear on the show. 
• June 7 - Austin Mahone: Kicking off the year with an MTV VMA win for “Artist to Watch” and MTV EMA awards for “Best Push Artist,” and “Artist on the Rise,” Austin Mahone released his new single “Mmm Yeah” featuring Pitbull in January of this year. His previous hit singles, “What About Love” and “Banga! Banga!” have collectively garnered more than 55 million views on YouTube and can be heard on top radio stations around the nation. 
• June 13 - For King & Country: This is the first "Celebrate the Word" weekend of the concert series. For King & Country is a Christian pop duo who is composed of Australian-born brothers Joel & Luke Smallbone. The brothers' 2012 debut record “Crave” has received critical praise, and they were named by Billboard as one of the "New Artists To Watch." 
• June 14, Casting Crowns: The contemporary Christian rock band started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall has won a Grammy and multiple Dove Awards. Their latest album, "Thrive," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200, selling 45,000 first-week copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Thrive" is the band's fifth Top 10 on the Billboard 200 -- more than any other Christian act in the SoundScan era.
• June 21 - Thompson Square: The country duo composed of husband and wife Keifer and Shawna Thompson, are best known for their multiple-award winning hit, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not.” The duo defended their title for the second straight year, winning the 2013 Academy of Country Music award for vocal duo of the year.
  
• June 28 – Daughtry: The band, fronted by Chris Daughtry, a finalist on the fifth season of "American Idol," had their self-titled debut album reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, went on to sell more than 4 million copies in the United States, and has been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. 
• July 4 – TESLA: Sacramento-based rock band has sold 14 million albums in the United States. They are a multi-platinum-selling rock band known for their melodic songs who continues to tour to sold-out crowds around the world. TESLA’s album, "Forever More," contains the first single, “I Wanna Live,” along with “Breakin’ Free” and the self-titled track that opens the show nightly.
• July 5 - Chris Young: Grammy-nominated Chris Young is a country music artist who was declared the 2006 winner of the television program "Nashville Star," a singing competition that aired on the USA Network. His self-titled debut album that year produced two singles on "Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "You're Gonna Love Me." 
• July 11 - Matthew West and Rhett Walker Band: The two artists will come together for the second "Celebrate the Word" weekend at the park. Matthew West is a contemporary Christian musician and actor who has released five studio albums and is known for his songs "More," "You Are Everything," and "The Motions." West won the 2013 American Music Award for Best Contemporary Inspirational Artist. Rhett Walker Band is a Southern Christian rock band from Nashville, Tenn., whose debut single and Grammy nominated song, "When Mercy Found Me,” has achieved placement on many radio stations including K-LOVE, and has charted on a multitude of Christian music charts. 
• July 12 - Steven Curtis Chapman and Tim Timmons: Tim Timmons is a contemporary Christian musician. His debut studio album "Cast My Cares" has a lead single that has reached No. 25 on the Christian Songs chart. Steven Curtis Chapman startied his career in the late 1980s as a singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music. He as been recognized as one of the most prolific singers in the genre, releasing more than 20 albums. Chapman has also won five Grammy awards and 58 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, more than any other artist in history.
• July 19 - Bridgit Mendler: Bridgit Mendler is an American singer-songwriter, musician, producer and actress. She has appeared on several Disney Channel series and in 2009, she became a recurring character for the Disney Channel Original Series "Wizards of Waverly Place." In 2012, Mendler released her debut album "Hello My Name Is...," which debuted at No. 30 on the US Billboard 200, and has sold more than 180,000 copies as of 2013.  
• Aug. 2 - Rodney Atkins: The country music artist charted his first single on the Billboard country chart in 1997. "If You're Going Through Hell," his second album, was released in 2006. Its first two singles, "If You're Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows)" and "Watching You", each spent four weeks at the top of the country music chart and were respectively ranked as the top country songs of 2006 and 2007, according to Billboard Year-End. 
• Aug. 8 - Plumb and Chris August: This is the third and final “Celebrate the Word” weekend of the 2014 season. Chris August is an American Contemporary Christian musician began recording as a secular musician before switching to Christian music. His song "Starry Night" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Songs chart in 2010/2011. Plumb is a songwriter, recording artist, performer and author. She has sold more than 500,000 albums and more than two million singles worldwide and has co-penned songs for numerous other artists. Originally signed as a contemporary Christian recording artist in 1997, but is also known as well in alternative rock and electronic dance music, and for the use of her music in film and television.
• Aug. 9 - Switchfoot: The alternative rock band had early successes in the Christian rock scene and first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie "A Walk to Remember." This recognition led to their major label debut, "The Beautiful Letdown," which and featured the hits "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move” and  went on to sell more than 2.6 million copies. Their studio album "Hello Hurricane" received a Grammy award in 2011 for Best Rock Gospel Album and they have won 11 Dove Awards.

All concerts are included with a season pass or general admission ticket with free lawn seating on a first-come, first-served basis at Timberwood Amphitheater. In addition, reserved seating may be purchased for $10 or $5 here beginning March 24. The theme park opens April 12, with the water park opening on May 10. Season passes are $74.99 for individuals.
