Get ready for spring thrills! Magic Springs Water & Theme Park will open for the 2014 season on April 12.

This summer, the park will debut a brand-new bungee jump attraction called the Sky Shark. Daredevils will strap into a harness with a friend or two. The brave riders will then be hoisted to the top of a 115-foot-tall arch before free-falling at 50 miles per hour and finally swinging above Magic Springs lake.

The Crystal Falls water park will open May 10, once again drenching visitors with pools, rivers, slides and more. Families can soak up the sun and cool down at Splash Island, which debuted in 2013.

Also in May, the park will open exclusively for school groups during the annual Education in Motion days. Using the Education in Motion guide, teachers will challenge students to apply scientific principles and mathematical reasoning to the attractions and rides at the park. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on May 2 (theme park only) and May 9 & 16 (water and theme park). For more info and to make group reservations, click here.

Mark your calendar for the upcoming concert season, too. Magic Springs announced a partial lineup, which includes For King & Country, Casting Crowns, Thompson Square and Daughtry in June. Chris Young will play in July and Switchfoot will make an appearance in August. For dates and more info, click here.
