After opening his storefront in the River Market back in November, Hot Dog Mike announced Monday (Feb. 3) it would be closing.

He made the announcement "Closed for good" on his Facebook page and followed with this comment:

Not a joke or publicity stunt. Think and say what you want. Hot Dog Mike is another failed business. I appreciate those that supported me but unfortunately it wasn't enough. I prefer to not read the comments as this all hurts my heart. I'm not going to keep responding and feel the need to go quiet for a while, pray and get my bearings. Thanks again. It's been fun Little Rock. Take care of yourselves.

Hot Dog Mike offered a variety of 'dogs like the CHILIdog, CLASSICdog and KRAUTdog, plus tons more, with the menu changing daily.
