Want to keep your kiddos entertained after school?

The Mid-America Science Museum, 500 Mid America Blvd., Hot Springs, is offering a great deal on admission throughout the month of February to help you save!

Throughout February, they will be offering half-price admission for visitors after 3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Cool! 

Their current exhibits include the "Tinkering Studio" where you can draw your own animation and watch it move with the zoetrope and build a flying contraption out of egg cartons, pasteboard, cardboard tubes, or bits of plastic that will fly in the wind tubes. There is also the "Keva Planks" exhibit, Tesla Theater and virtual reality simulator ride. "Nanotechnology: What's the Big Deal?" is also getting started this weekend (Jan. 25)! Before the special deal gets started, the museum is offering 35 percent off any item in its store through Friday (Jan. 24) and a free gift for those who sign up for a membership Jan. 28-31.
