Although Cupcakes on Kavanaugh, 5625 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock,  announced its second location, Cupcakes on The Ridge, 11525 Cantrell Road, Ste. 407, Little Rock, is closing this week at the Pleasant Ridge Town Center, the shop has big plans in the works.

Starting Friday (Nov. 1), the original location in the heart of The Heights neighborhood will be the only one in operation at the moment-- key phrase "at the moment."

Here is the announcement made on their Facebook page last week:

"Well folks, we have some bittersweet news. We're moving on from our location at The Ridge (sniff, sniff) on November 1, but, the SUPER SWEET news is that we are getting BIGGER AND BETTER! Stay tuned to hear about our new locations and you can always find Arkansas' FIRST cupcakery on Kavanaugh!"
