This Saturday (Sept. 14), you can help cover the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Library with a collage of sidewalk chalk drawings as part of the 8th Annual Thea Paves the Way.

Hosted by the Thea Foundation, the event regularly draws more than 500 participants, including students and schoolgroups, families and community groups who collaborate to produce a sidewalk chalk mural.

Participants also enjoy music spun by a DJ, entertainment from the Parkview Mimes, and other recreation on the Library lawn.

Teachers who register their students and compete as a school group have a chance to win one of two $250 gift certificates to art supplies distributor, Dick Blick Art Materials.

Plus, all teachers and students (grades K and up) will be able to visit the Clinton Presidential Library exhibits at no charge during the event.

Thea Paves the Way is from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 14 at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library front lawn.

Admission is free, but reservations are encouraged as space is limited. Register online here until Sept. 12.
