Last Chance: See the Dinosaurs Exhibit at Mid-America Science Museum
Families have two more weekends to immerse themselves in the prehistoric era in which dinosaurs roamed Earth. After a summer of educational entertainment, the popular Dinosaurs exhibit at Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs will close after Sept. 2.
Visitors to the exhibit will experience the sights, sounds and actions of robotic dinosaurs, scaled to three-fourths of their enormous sizes. Look out for everyone's favorite predator -- Tyrannosaurus Rex -- as well as a couple of herbivore friends, such as the Stegosaurus and Triceratops.
Also closing after Labor Day weekend: The interactive SkyCycle exhibit allows brave visitors to experience the center of gravity. Kids can hop atop a bicycle, held in place by a large counterweight, and attempt to pedal across a wire.
Hours for the museum are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. General admission: $10, seniors ages 65 and up and children ages 3-12 $7; tickets fore the SkyCycle are an additional $3.
