Calling all baseball lovers! North Little Rock will host the American Legion Baseball Mid-South Regional Tournament this year for the first time, from Aug. 8-12.

The first pitch will be thrown at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 8) at the Vince DeSalvo Stadium in Burns Park. Teams from Hays, Kansas and Tupelo, Mississippi will be the first to take the field.

North Little Rock will play in the final game of the first day, facing off against Gonzales, Louisiana at 7 p.m. Thursday evening will include an opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m., where former Miss Arkansas Alyse Eady will sing the national anthem.

The tournament winner will go on to represent the Mid-South in the World Series.

Individual session tickets are $8, children ages 6-12 $4, children under 6 free. Tickets for the entire five-day tournament can be purchased for $40 online and $50 at the stadium.
