There's an abundance of foodie fun to be had this weekend!

From hand pies at Loblolly to watermelon activities to baked goods for sale, there's something to suit everyone's tastes.

Here's what you can expect:

  1. Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee's, 12110 Chenal Pkwy., Little Rock: Applebee's will be partnering with Relay for Life to host a Flapjack Fundraiser from 7-10 a.m. Saturday (July 27). Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee. All proceeds raised will go toward the American Cancer Society in support of cancer research with hopes of finding a cure. No Kid Hungry Bake Sale at Argenta Farmers Market, 6th and Main Streets, North Little Rock: Coinciding with the Saturday market from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. (July 27), the bake sale will offer many products following the new USDA guidelines for healthier snacks in schools with low sugar and calories, but other desserts and snacks will be sold as well. The goal of the No Kid Hungry campaign is to help ensure that all children get the healthy food they need, every day. For more information, click here.
  3. A La Mode Little Rock at The Green Corner Store and Soda Fountain, 1423 S. Main St., Little Rock: Join Loblolly Creamery and Little Rock Pie Cycle for a fun collaboration from 6-8 p.m. Saturday (July 27), or until the pies run out. The fountain staff will be dishing up yummy Pie Cycle hand pies with a scoop of Loblolly Creamery's handcrafted ice cream. Enjoy live music from Jared Carter. Know much about Little Rock Pie Cycle?   4. 2nd Annual Watermelon Festival at The Bernice Garden, 1401 S. Main St., Little Rock: The event, which was announced last week, will coincide with the garden's regular market time, which is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday (July 28). Epoch Church members will help run the watermelon activities, which will include the traditional, like seed-spitting and watermelon-eating contests, and perhaps some not-so-traditional crafts and surprises.
