Huntington Learning Center Offers New Group Study Program
To meet the growing demand for ACT exam prep services, Huntington Learning Center is offering a first-of-its-kind Group ACT Program, providing an option for students to prepare for and practice taking the exam in a group setting.
The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures skills and knowledge taught in school and deemed important for success in college.
The program will be held at Arkansas Sports Performance, 4701 Sam Peck Rd., Little Rock, and at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, 100 N. Main St., North Little Rock. It provides a 36-hour ACT prep course with pre- and post- testing; flexible class times; and a maximum ratio of ten students-to-one instructor per class.
The ACT is taken by high school students and college-bound individuals. The score results are used by colleges for admission, course placement and advising purposes, and by states, districts, schools, teachers, and students for diagnostic, monitoring, and intervention purposes. Last year, 88 percent of Arkansas high school graduates took the ACT with an average composite score of 20.3.
Students or parents can take advantage of Huntington Group ACT Program by enrolling online here or calling Huntington Learning Center at (501) 223-2626.
