3rd Annual Arkansas Bone & Joint Bryant Kids Triathlon at Bishop Park -- This triathlon for children ages 5-15 encourages youngsters to get involved in the endurance sport, regardless of prior experience or athletic ability. 4th Annual Arkansas Salutes the Troops Golf Tournament and Family Concert at Greystone Country Club in Cabot -- Adults will tee off in a golf tournament hosted by Arkansas Salutes the Troops, a nonprofit that benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, Airmen and Family Readiness Center and 806th Family Readiness Group. At 7 p.m., participants and their families can hang out at a free concert featuring the River Billy Band and Tragikly White. Kids can also have their faces painted and bounce in jump houses. Kids Fishing Derby at Pinnacle Mountain State Park -- Kids participate in fishing clinics and casting contests. Plus, they'll nosh on free snacks and enter to win lots of prizes, including a prize given for the biggest fish caught. BYO bait and tackle. Little Rock Zoo 5K/1M Cheetah Chase -- This 5K to benefit the Little Rock Zoo takes runners through War Memorial Park and the Hillcrest Neighborhood and ends back at the zoo where race participants gain free admission. The 1K Family Fun Run takes place inside the zoo. Awards will be given for best animal costume and best "big cat" costume. National Trails Day at Petit Jean State Park -- Visitors of all ages are invited to explore and enjoy Petit Jean’s eight trails of varying lengths and levels of difficulty. Super Summer Saturday: The Oscar Experience at Clinton Presidential Center -- Each Saturday at the Clinton Center, children are invited to take part in free, fun programs, presented in conjunction with visiting exhibits. Today, tykes will participate in activities related to Oscar de la Renta: An American Icon, which showcases the fashion designer's work. Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis Walk at Clinton Presidential Center -- At this family-friendly event, you'll find hot dogs and hamburgers, entertainment such as RockUSAurus and Unity Martial Arts, and a short walk over the new bridge at the Clinton Center. All funds raised benefit research and education to improve the lives of those affected by Crohn's and Colitis. Participants are encouraged to raise at least $100 to earn the official event t-shirt. Tour de Rock Fun Ride at Burns Park -- Tour de Rock is a fundraiser for CARTI that caters to cycling enthusiast and those folks interested in having fun. The Fun Ride is a leisurely 10 mile ride great for cyclists of all ages and biking experience levels. Bonus event: Moms, this one's for you! The Garden Clubs 13th Annual Spring Tour takes place this weekend on June 1 & 2. This year's tour theme is "Urban Delights--Practical Gardening in the City," and features eight private gardens and four public gardens in the central/mid-town areas of Little Rock.
