It's that time of year -- bundle up in beanies and mittens, strap into your skates and step into the Arvest Ice Rink, now open in the River Market. Families will have the chance to glide around Little Rock's outdoor seasonal rink, located in the open-air, covered pavilions, through Jan. 6.

Skate rental and one hour of ice time is $9, children under 5 are admitted free with a paid adult admission.

Hours of operation Nov. 17-Dec. 21 are 4-9 p.m. Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sat., noon-8 p.m. Sun.

The schedule from Dec. 19-21 is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily; hours for Dec. 22-Jan. 6 are 4-9 p.m. Mon.-Sat., noon-8 p.m. Sun.

The rink is open on holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Special holiday hours are listed here.
