In celebration of National Ice Cream Day Sunday (July 15), Searcy-based Yarnell’s is distributing free ice cream sandwiches at the Little Rock Zoo and Museum of Discovery.

Scoop, Yarnell’s mascot, will be handing out cold treats from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Little Rock Zoo, then from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Museum of Discovery.

Admission to the Zoo, which is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays, is $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under. For more information call (501) 666-2406.
