Sample local produce and meats from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. today (June 30) during Argenta Foodie Festival taking place at 600 Main St., North Little Rock, next to the Argenta Certified Farmers Market, going on from 7 a.m.-noon.

Admission and parking are free.

There will be live music by Fire & Brimstone and Steve Bates, arts and crafts, and samples and demonstrations by representtatives of Argenta Market, Boulevard Bread Co., Rocket Twenty One (formerly Ferneau), Hunka Pie, Starving Artist Cafe, Cafe 42, Mark Abernathy, Christina L, and Lulav. 

The festival is an opportunity to learn about, taste and enjoy the abundance of produce and meats available this time of year in Arkansas from local farmers and prepared by area chefs, restaurants and catering services.
