With nearly 4.5 million albums sold, a Grammy Award, an American Music Award, 23 Dove Awards and eight chart-topping radio singles, Casting Crowns is one of the biggest groups in Christian music. And on August 13, they’ll perform live at Magic Springs as part of the 2011 Pepsi Concert Series.

Through all their successes, the seven-member band remains focused on Christian discipleship through music. Based out of Eagles Landing Baptist Church near Atlanta, the group’s lead singer and songwriter Mark Hall writes songs inspired by his 18-year tenure in youth ministry. The songs started as messages for his 400 teenagers and their families. With boldly honest, hard-hitting lyrics, the band continues to challenge and strengthen Christians, giving listeners a fresh, relevant perspective on loving God and loving people.

All concerts in the Pepsi Concert Series are free with park admission or for season pass holders. Reserved seating for concerts is available online for $10 and $5. For more information, visit MagicSprings.com or call 624-0100.
