Little Rock Family Presents the Amazing Educators of 2021

Little Rock Family is proud to present the eighth annual class of Amazing Educators, sponsored exclusively by Delta Dental of Arkansas. With help from our sponsor, we gave awards to four impressive teachers in central Arkansas who work hard every day to inspire their students to learn, reach goals and dream.

This year, we are especially excited to celebrate local educators. These hard-working individuals continue to spark their students’ imaginations, see their potential and tirelessly encourage them — even through school closures, virtual classes and social distancing.

The winning educators were nominated by coworkers, family members, parents of students and community members to be considered for the award. An independent panel of education experts reviewed nearly 200 nominations and chose a winner in each category: Elementary School, Middle School, High School and Special Needs. While judges must remain anonymous, we can’t thank them enough for their involvement in choosing this year’s honorees.

Winners were recognized in the fall of 2020 through surprise Zoom presentations supported by other faculty members. During the virtual ceremonies, each educator received a $1,000 check and Delta Dental of Arkansas provided several hundred toothbrushes for students at each of the schools!
