All proud Arkansans know our state is the original home of cheese dip. Harking back to the 1930s, Arkansas cheese dip varies widely — white, yellow, veggie filled, meat-enhanced — but the hallmark is long-lasting, delicious dip-ability. 

To celebrate our culinary gift to the south, Little Rock is home to the World Cheese Dip Championship (WCDC). Pros and amateurs compete each year for Big Dipper and People’s Choice awards. And each year, all proceeds from the event benefit Harmony Health Clinic, a provider of free medical and dental services to the uninsured and under-insured in Pulaski County, Arkansas.

This year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be virtual. Families can purchase a Cheese Dip coupon book that includes specials from Stoby's, Mockingbird Bar and Tacos, Cantina Laredo, and many more. Your purchase also includes access to the virtual fun on October 28 including music, entertainment and … drumroll … the unveiling of the winners.
