Adjusted Details for the Week of August 21-28 — Virtual Students

Monday/Thursday:

K-12 students with a last name beginning with A-M will have a live 20-minute virtual conference time with a Curriculum & Instruction staff member.

Wednesday:

Homeroom and first period teachers will make contact with students.

Tuesday/Friday:

K-12 in-person students with a last name beginning with N-Z will have a live 20-minute virtual conference time with a Curriculum & Instruction staff member.

Monday-Friday:

Pre-Kindergarten students do not have a virtual option.

Notes:

  • For virtual students, the focus of the first week of school will be learning how to navigate the Schoology platform.

  • The district has still not released sign in information for their new learning management system, Schoology. According to a Facebook comment made by the district on August 19 all students will receive this information from their teachers: “Teachers will send codes home with students who are face-to-face and email parents with code information for those who are virtual. Second week, teachers will provide content, so don’t worry if you don’t have code on the first day of school.”
