“Gowns are a must-have, especially for those first few weeks when you're so tired that those snaps are never snapped right. You don't have to turn on a light to figure out why the baby's leg is sticking out of the pajamas!” — Lizbeth H.
“I wish I'd registered for a Hakka pump! And I wished I'd have thought to register for post-baby meals/housecleaning and a birth photographer! I didn't need a million receiving blankets and onesies that he grew out of before he had a chance to use them (or coordinated picture frames, ha!). I also wish I'd have registered for cloth diapers the first time around rather than waiting to start when my oldest was one. I could have saved so much money starting earlier!” — Brittany O.
"Must-have: SwaddleMe wraps!” — Stephanie S.
"My favorite registry item round two was the Baby Delight Snuggle Nest CoSleeper. With our first, we used a bassinet that stayed next to our bed before we transitioned her to her crib. She slept well, but I was dealing with PPD. I spent way too much time waking up, leaning over and listening to make sure she was still breathing. With our second in the Snuggle Nest, he was right there between us where I could hear him without having to even raise up off my pillow!” — Laura P.
“We got a bottle warmer/puree maker/steamer. It’s easy to use and takes the guesswork out of warming a bottle at 3 a.m. We also got a small touch-activated lantern that gave enough light to change a diaper, but not enough to wake up baby. We also love our Lovevery play gym — our 10-month-old still plays with it! We got too many blankets, lovies, newborn diapers and newborn clothes.” — Alex H.
“My top item is always gift cards and diapers. Item to skip? Wipe warmers.” — LR_Kids
“The Moby Wrap baby carrier is a must! I used it with my youngest and wish I had one with the other two. Very comfortable to wear and was a lifesaver — no backaches!” — Elizabeth E.
“Trash cans just for diapers were a waste for us. Don't register for blankets. It's everyone's go-to gift anyway. We had more blankets than we could ever use. The grooming kit was a waste for us as well.” — Holly P.
