Recipes to Try: 3 Tasty Homemade Popsicles
Is it even summer if you don’t hand out popsicles to your kids a couple times a week? I think we all know the answer to that question. If you’d like to ditch the store bought stuff, or just want more control over your flavors and ingredients, here are three simple + delicious recipes to try.
The Process
If you can press start on a blender, you can make popsicles!
-
Mix or blend ingredients.
-
Pour mixture into molds.
-
Freeze overnight (or 5 hours at a minimum).
-
Enjoy! Pro tip: you may need to run hot water on your mold to pop out your pops.
No Mold? No Problem.
While there are plenty of reusable popsicle molds out there, you don’t need one to start making your own pops. Alternatives include:
-
Muffins/mini muffin pans
-
Loaf pans (Just add sticks after your mix is partially frozen. Cut into portions when you’re ready to indulge)
-
Paper/plastic cups
-
Yogurt cups
