Attention young anglers: don’t miss this cool opportunity. Next week (June 15-19), the Arkansas Game and Fish Commision (AGFC) will be hosting Discover Fishing Camp. This free, online day camp will include a wide variety of lessons and even virtual field trips. 

Camp will include: 

  • Habitat and fish identification skills

  • Fish management techniques 

  • Virtual conversation with a fisheries biologist 

  • Virtual visit to fish hatchery 

  • Angling skills tips and tricks

Completed grades: 5-8

Cost: This camp is free thanks to the 1/8th Conservation sales tax. Space is limited and registration is required.
