COVID-19 Guide: How to Checkout Library Books Through CALS
Parents and book lovers rejoice: you can use the curbside service at your local CALS branch* to refresh your reading selection! If your house is anything like mine, adding new books to the rotation is long overdue.
Each branch’s curbside details are slightly different, so be sure to study up before you head for your first pickup. We rounded up the major details to get you started:
CALS Curbside Details
Hours: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. | Monday - Saturday
At-Location Services:

Book Drop Return: Drops are now open! Items will be quarantined for four days, but no fines will be accessed during that time.

Holds Pickup: You can finally retrieve those items you’ve been waiting for! *Insert happy dance*

Mobile Printing: You can have documents printed at pickup. Send documents via email or connect through their app. Find details here.

Concierge Pickup: You can call or email your branch to request items for checkout. Fancy.
General procedures:
To get started, you will need to know the phone number of your branch and your library card number (on the back of your card). Each branch has their own social distancing guidelines to get you your requests, there will be no face-to-face contact.
