Favorite memory from high school:
Following my freshman year, I went to Switzerland and Italy with my counselor, my fabulous French teacher and a few other students. I can vividly recall one afternoon when I was lying on the beaches of Lake Garda, eating the Italian version of a hot dog and talking to one of my best friends Olivia — that was pure bliss.

I have had the honor of learning from Ms. Rachel McLemore during my sophomore and senior years in AP United States History and AP Comparative Government and Politics. Ms. McLemore taught me the value of perspective; she taught me that I should never allow a single assignment or test affect my emotions for more than just a few minutes.
