Career goal:
I am pursuing a major in art education to become an art teacher. I’ve yet to decide what grade I’d like to teach, but I’m leaning towards high school students. I am also minoring in interior design.
Favorite memory from high school:
My favorite memory from high school happened during this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month program. I was able to give a little insight into my culture to my peers.
Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life:
Dr. Jacobs, JAG specialist, is an amazing teacher who has helped me shape my career path. She goes above and beyond for her students by taking us on college tours, state capital events and even buying us clothes for interviews. Her passion to see us succeed has inspired me to become a teacher, too!
