Career goal:
I aspire to become a biochemist. I've had a deep passion for the sciences, along with helping others, since I was a young girl. Also, amidst our current COVID-19 crisis, I feel like it's important for the youth to become more involved in the research and progression of biological technology so that we can better prepare ourselves for future pandemics such as this one.
Favorite memory from high school:
My favorite memory of high school was during my junior year when I was nominated for our school's homecoming court and won princess.
Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life:
There are three teachers who have made a huge impact in not only my academic life, but also my character. I would like to thank Ms. Sharline Laurent, Ms. Meghan Thompson and Ms. Nicole Griffin for never giving up on me and pushing me even when I didn't believe in myself.
