While Pinterest-inspired projects may be your best friend right now, don’t forget to check out local sources for at-home activities. Here are a few of our favorites:

Heifer International

Heifer’s mission is to end hunger and poverty. With that in mind, this Little Rock organization has put together a wonderful collection of online resources for kids to learn about sustainable farming and more. You can find printable coloring sheets, downloadable books and activity inspiration organized by grade level.

City of Little Rock

It doesn’t get more local than kid-friendly activities from our hometown. Explore this new Fun at Home page to discover coloring sheets, jigsaw puzzles (warning: these are addicting) and virtual fun from the Little Rock Zoo, CALS, Museum of Discovery and more! Kids can even pick a Little Rock-themed Zoom background for their next class session.

Arkansas Game & Fish Commision

Whether you want to learn more about the birds in your backyard or need more coloring options, the Arkansas Game & Fish Commision has collected a wide variety of free downloadable activities. These resources are wonderful for any kid who wants to learn more about the natural wonders of the Natural State.
