Tacos 4 Life Needs YOU to Eat Tacos
Helping others never tasted so good. All you have to do to help fight world hunger this Friday is eat tacos! Tacos 4 Life, the Arkansas-based chain founded in 2014, has a goal to raise 28,000 meals in one day in honor of Good Samaritan Day.
How Can Little Rock Families Help?
We asked the Shackleford location manager what Little Rock families could do to help, and it’s simple, “for every taco, salad, quesadilla, rice bowl, or nachos that are sold, 24 cents is donated to Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), Tacos 4 Life’s nonprofit partner.”
So order a taco (or two) on Friday to do your small part to support FMSC.
The Numbers
The Little Rock location at Shackleford Crossing has pledged to contribute 2,000 meals — the largest goal of any Central Arkansas location. According to the branch manager, the location typically raises 875 meals per day, so (take a moment for quick mental math) they need your help to make their Good Samaritan Day goal a reality.
You can also double your impact by doubling your donation with each order.
Beyond Tacos
There are also hands-on volunteer opportunities with FMSC and Tacos 4 Life. The branch manager shared a little bit about how anyone can get involved. “We also provide volunteer opportunities through our MobilePack events, where community members are able to join our mission by helping to pack the meals raised in the restaurant. These MobilePacks have taken place at Pulaski Academy and the Statehouse Convention Center and we are looking to partner with several others in the coming months and years!”
