Arkansas Martin Luther King Commission 2021 King Holiday Day of Impact Virtual Celebration 

Join the Arkansas Martin Luther King Commission for a two-hour world premiere on Dr. King's Birthday. There will be special guest appearances by Governor Asa Hutchinson, Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin, Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, Senator Joyce Elliott and many more.

Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at the Zoo

Come out to the zoo to participate in a MLK, Jr. quote scavenger hunt during your visit. Families are also encouraged to bring a new sock donation for Jericho Way for $2 off admission.

MLK Day Outdoor Day of Service 

The St. Joseph Center is bringing together AmeriCorps members, community volunteers, youth, families and AmeriCorps Alums for a hands-on, outside day of service! This year, volunteers will help clear a parcel of land to be used as access to a new Bus Stop Garden.

MLK Day of Service at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center

MTCC will host a letter-writing campaign with A Million Thanks to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day! The letters will go to U.S. veterans as an appreciation of their service.

CALS MLK Day of Service

The CALS virtual program will consist of an address from Mayor Frank Scott Jr., a public service panel and a discussion of John Lewis’ graphic novel "March." The first 100 people to register will receive a free copy of John Lewis’s “March: Book 1.”
