Back-to-School Splash at Splash Zone: Families are invited to slip, slide & dive into the night at the last bash of the summer. Swim and dance to music with a live DJ. Admission is $5 per person and the fun goes from 6-9 p.m. Click here for more info.

Walk With Me 5K & Family Fun Walk at Easterseals Arkansas: Celebrate and raise money as your family enjoys food, refreshments and activities all morning! The fun starts at 7 a.m. and includes face painting, bounce houses and more in addition to the fun walk or 5K. Visit the website to register: $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under.
Breakfast with the Penguins at the Little Rock Zoo: Enjoy breakfast at Café Africa and then enjoy a special keeper chat and up-close encounters with the penguins. Paint & Storytime at The Painted Pig Studio: It's important to build creative expression at an early age, and just getting a paintbrush in your kids' hands is the first step! When he meets a little girl who shows him what feelings mean through color, he is able to define his emotions, and gain peace and self-awareness in the process. Happy, Healthy Trees at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center: In this interactive program, kids and adults will look at a cross section of a tree, or “tree cookie”, to learn the inner parts of a tree and how growing conditions can influence its size and health. Program participants will learn that trees need three resources – sunlight, water, and nutrients — and that trees often must compete for these resources.
