Upcoming ASO Season Features ‘Home Alone,’ ‘Jurassic Park’
"Home Alone" and "Jurassic Park" are hitting the big screen again — but not at the movie theater.
The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra's 2019-2020 season features both classic films, and the full ensemble will play the entire musical soundtrack live along with the movies. The shows take place in the Robinson Center, where the film is played in HD on a huge screen above the accompanying orchestra.
"Home Alone" is rated PG and performances take place Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. "Jurassic Park" is rated PG-13 and performances take place May 9, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and May 10, 2020 at 3 p.m.
Tickets start at $10 for both performances and kids can get in free to Sunday afternoon shows with an Entergy Kids Ticket.
The full ASO season lineup also includes their classic "Home for the Holidays" show on Dec. 19, "A Broadway Evening with Heather Headley" on Oct. 5 and a host of other shows. Visit the ASO's website for more information and to purchase tickets for any of the performances.
