Burger Competition and Street Fest Debuts in The Heights
Choosing Little Rock's best burger could be on your shoulders.
At the first-ever Miracle League Burger Competition, chefs from around central Arkansas will be grilling, searing and stacking up their best burgers in hopes of earning the titles of Best Burger and People's Choice Burger, the latter of which is decided by your votes.
The Miracle League Burger Competition is a street festival taking place in the heart of The Heights on Kavanaugh Boulevard from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, June 9. The summer kickoff event features umlimited sliders from every competitor's kitchen, a beer tent for mom and dad and a kids zone featuring grilled hot dogs and games for little attendees.
The winning chef will get a golden ticket to the World Food Championships in Dallas, Texas in October where they'll put their burger to the test arainst the best from around the world.
Adult tickets are $20 and kids get in free; proceeds from the event benefit The Miracle League of Arkansas, a baseball league empowering local youth living with disabilities. For more details on the MLB Competition, check out the Facebook event page.
