Storytime with Mermaid Sparkles at Whole Foods Market: Mermaid Sparkles will be the special guest at Kids Club! She’ll be reading her favorite story, “The Rainbow Fish,” sharing her knowledge of aquatic life and conservation and answering all of your mermaid questions! Downtown Dash at Junior League of Little Rock: The official race starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Junior League Building on Scott Street, and will feature downtown Little Rock landmarks, such as the River Market, Clinton Library, and Arkansas Arts Center. There's a 10K/5K as well as a Kids 1K “Downtown Dash, Jr.” which starts at 8 a.m. Registration is $10-$40 and more info is available on the Junior League website.
Catholic High Junktique at Catholic High School: Get ready to bargain shop! This huge garage sale includes two gyms filled with lamps, pictures, furniture, household items, clothes, toys and more. Outside, find outdoor furniture, basketball goals and other items. The sale goes from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and more details are available here. FREE!
Easter Bunny Breakfast at McCain Mall: Hop into spring with Easter crafts and activities, breakfast and a visit from the Easter Bunny from 9-10 a.m. Reservations are required. Call Jordan at 501-758-6317, extension 221. FREE!
Arkansas Birth & Baby Expo at the Statehouse Convention Center: With over 21,000 square feet of booths and centers, shop baby merchandise from local boutiques, talk to baby and child photographers, meet birth and support doulas, learn about educational opportunities and all things baby and maternity! Kids in the Kitchen at Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library: Kids in the Kitchen is nutrition class for students in third grade and older. The lesson is 30-60 minutes long and includes a physical activity and a food tasting or activity. The fun starts at 1 p.m. Click here for details. FREE

Caring Bunny at McCain Mall: McCain Mall's Caring Bunny event will offer families whose children have special needs a subdued environment to participate in the Easter Bunny photo experience. Free tickets are available online to reserve a timeslot between 9-11 a.m. at the center court. FREE!
Inclusive Playground Ribbon Cutting at Tyndall Park in Benton: Commemorate the opening of the brand new inclusive playground at Tyndall Park, accesible to wheelchairs and created to provide fun for people of all abilities. Barkus on Main in Downtown Little Rock: Downtown Little Rock’s third annual Mardi Gras dog parade will feature live music, a beer garden for mom and dad, gumbo, a crawfish boil, plenty of beads, and of course the pet parade itself! “Charlotte's Web” at Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre: A spider and a pig may be an unlikely pair of best friends, but Wilbur needs a one-of-a-kind friend — and Charlotte the spider is a perfect companion.
