Girl Power at The Old State House: Eigth grade girls, head to The Old State House for a day-long event focused on girl power, finding your voice and speaking your mind. Caking it With Kids at UA-Pulaski Tech: Kids ages 6-10 can learn the basics of cake baking and buttercreams. Each student will take home 12 assorted cupcakes after learning how to mix cake batter and buttercream and how to pipe buttercream swirls. Registration is $60 and class goes from 9 a.m.-noon. Fishing Derby at MacArthur Pond: Bring your own tackle and bait to this kids fishing derby. Participants ages 16 and older must have a valid AGFC fishing license and trout stamp, but children under the age of 16 fish for free. The fun goes from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Click here for more info. FREE!
Brian & Terri Kinder at the Main Library: Kindersongs will perform 40 minutes of fun, interactive children's music! The concert is free and starts at 10:30 a.m. Click here for more details. FREE!
Eagle Lake Cruises at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Join park interpreters for a cruise on Lake Maumelle to seek wintering bald eagles and other migratory waterfowl. Dress in layers for extreme cold and windy lake weather. Meet at the Jolly Rogers Marina at 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. Call 501-868-5806 to register and pay in advance: $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12.

Winter Tea Party at Castle on Stagecoach: Join the Snow Queen, Ice Princess and Ice Cutting Man for a special tea party at the Castle on Stagecoach! Take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the castle, enjoy a full English tea, take photos with the characters, sing and dance with them and more! Tickets are $60 for adults and $50 for children. Intro to Yoga for Children at Arkansas Yoga Collective: Yoga can help kids' ability to concentrate, encourage body awareness, help to develop and improve coordination skills and more. This fun-filled, hour-long class will be tailored around helping children understand the foundations of yoga.
