Heroes Against Hunger 5K and Kids Fun Run at Murray Park: Head to Murray Park for this 5K that raises funds for the Arkansas Foodbank. Registration begins at 6 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. A kids fun run follows the 5K at 9 a.m. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero. Cupcakes for Goodness Sake in Argenta: CareLink's fourth annual fundraiser, Cupcakes for Goodness Sake takes place on North Little Rock’s Main Street and features themed-cupcake creations, local vendors, food trucks and live music from the Rodney Block Collective. “Curious George: The Golden Meatball” at the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre: Look out! Curious George is buzzing and bouncing with excitement. The Man with the Yellow Hat can hardly keep up. And why is this mischievous monkey so wound up? Because it’s Meatball Day! Hang out with your favorite monkey at the season opener at the Children’s Theatre.
