Little Rock Family Field Trip Guide: World Fest
by Little Rock Family Staff on 9/4/2018 12:00am
A multicultural festival that offers students a variety of learning experiences. This is accomplished by providing students with a safe, fun and stimulating environment infused with diversity education. This award-winning festival provides students with global perspective and cross-cultural interaction.
A Cultural Experience
- The World Cultural Fair Contest allows students to research, learn and present cultural facts and information about an international country — presentations are judged.
- In the Global Village, cultural agencies provide information for students to learn about their respective countries. Students interact directly with individuals from other cultures.
- At the Global Imagination Stage, students deliver an on-stage, cultural performance allowing them to demonstrate their cultural learning through expressive arts.
- Students can enjoy a petting zoo and pony rides at the festival.
- A Scavenger hunt is designed to drive students to some of the cultural exhibitors amidst all the other informational booths and activities at World Fest.
