5 Events for Weekend Family Fun
Celebrate the official start to summer with lots of family time! And if none of these events suit your fancy, you could play around at one of these 10 waterparks and splash pads, visit a local farmers market or head to one of the 23 museums in the central Arkansas area!

Super Summer Saturdays at the Clinton Center: Visit the Clinton Center for free "Louder Than Words"-themed programming for children (and adults) of all ages. Activities include hands-on guitar and drum lessons from the professionals at Guitar Center. There will also be a raffle every week for a free lesson at Guitar Center, sponsored by the Clinton Center. The fun goes from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Visit the website for more information. FREE!
Family Fun Day at Blue Canoe Brewing Warehouse: The kid-friendly lineup at this event includes a bounce house, snow cones, food trucks and live music. There's also a Yoga on Draft class in the beer garden. The fun lasts from noon-10 p.m. For more info, click here. FREE!
Kitten Yoga 2.0 at Blue Yoga Nyla: How much more relaxing does it get than this combination? Perfect for older kids or a relaxing afternoon for mom, this ArkanPaws Animal Rescue fundraiser/adopt-a-thon will let you get your downward dog on with some furry felines. Yoga classes will be at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. For more info, click here.
Sunset at the Summit at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: End your day with a healthy does of exercise and enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset as the temperatures drop in the evening. The hike starts at 7 p.m. For more info, click here. FREE!

Stargazing Cruise at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Enjoy a relaxing evening on Lake Maumelle where you’ll learn about stars, constellations, satellites and more.
