Kicking off its Main Stage EdUCAtion series in October, the Reynolds Perfomance Hall at University of Central Arkansas is bringing a full lineup of children's shows to their 2018-19 season.

The Main Stage Education series debuted in 2015-2016 and the shows are for school groups with select public performances.

Shows include: 

  • "Diary of a Worm, a Spider and a Fly," Oct. 30, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "The Science of Magic with Bill Blagg," Nov. 12, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "Junie B. Jones in Jingle Bells Batman Smells," Dec. 18, 6 p.m. (public performance), and Dec. 19, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "Freedom Bound," Jan. 28, 2019, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "Pete the Cat," March 15, 2019, 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. (public performance)
  • "Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure," April 28, 2019, 3 p.m. (public performance), and April 29, 2019, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

“The Main Stage Education Series continued to grow in its third season with 10,000 students, teachers and parents served,” said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds. “We had school groups attend from across Arkansas, including Mountain View, Little Rock, Searcy, Cabot and Conway.”

Individual tickets may be purchased in person at the box office, online or by calling (501) 450-3265 beginning Aug. 6.
