Favorite Memory from High School: My favorite memories from high school are learning that I made the baseball team in the ninth grade and then learning that Central Baptist College was interested in me playing baseball for them, followed by signing my national letter of intent. This is a dream come true, being able to play the sport I love while furthering my education.
Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life: While in the fifth grade Mrs. Natalie Akin took an interest in me and helped figure out that I had dyslexia. She took the time to work with me and show me that, even though I had a learning disability, I could still do anything I wanted. I consider her a great teacher and mentor and she was a huge influence in my decision to become a teacher so that I can help future students.
