Great Escape Weekend and Easter Egg Hunt at Petit Jean State Park: Celebrate spring and the great outdoors at Great Escape Weekend! Enjoy free nature-related and family-oriented activities. Brain Awareness Event at Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library: The goal of this event is to increase public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research with activities for all ages, but particularly for children in central Arkansas. There will be hands-on activities as well as exciting demonstrations from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Researchers and postdoctoral fellows from NCTR, UAMS, and UCA will participate. Maumelle Easter Egg Hunt at Rolling Oaks Soccer Complex: A free Easter egg hunt for ages 10 and under. The fun starts at 9 a.m. sharp; don't be late or the eggs will be gone! In case of rain, the event will take place in the Jess Odom Community Center. Click here for more information. FREE!

Autism Festival and Walk at War Memorial Stadium: The Arkansas Autism Foundation, one of Little Rock's newest nonprofits, is kicking off a month of events marking Autism Awareness Month with this free fest. Ferncliff Family Day at Ferncliff Camp & Conference Center: Ferncliff Family Day is a chance for everyone to experience all of what makes Ferncliff so great! 30th Annual Community Easter Sunrise Service at First Security Amphitheater: Celebrate Easter in downtown Little Rock as thousands gather on the banks of the Arkansas River with music, scripture and fellowship. Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church: On Easter Sunday morning, many United Methodists will rise before the sun to attend a sunrise worship service. Easter sunrise worship services take a variety of forms, but all have one thing in common—the people gather early in the morning to worship the resurrected Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Catherine State Park: For over 30 years, Lake Catherine State Park has hosted an Easter egg hunt. Join the fun as youngsters and the young-at-heart participate in this event. City of Sherwood Easter Egg Hunt: The annual Easter egg hunt is open to children ages walking through 10. In addition to 8,000 toy-filled eggs, there will also be prize eggs in each of the five age categories. The fun starts at 2 p.m. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance and be available for photos.
