Eagle Lake Cruises on Lake Maumelle: Join park interpreters for a cruise on Lake Maumelle to seek wintering bald eagles. Guests often see several eagles and migratory waterfowl. Dress in layers for extreme cold and windy lake weather. Advance registration and payment required: $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12. Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America Anniversary Party: The Little Rock chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is having a party at Loblolly Creamery at 2 p.m. to celebrate its five year anniversary! Winter Discovery Lake Cruises on Lake Maumelle: Come prepared to discover Lake Maumelle as it springs to life, in the middle of winter! Pinnacle Mountain State Park and its surrounding bodies of water host thousands of animals that have migrated south for the winter. A park interpreter will guide the way searching for critters of all kinds that spend the winter around the lake. Advance registration and payment required: $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12. Cruises take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and meet at the Jolly Rogers Marina. Princess Tea Party at The Castle on Stagecoach: Each child will take a photo with either The Snow Queen, The Ice Princess or The Ice Cutting Man and receive a tiara and wand before enjoying a three-course tea. While you enjoy the tea, a group of princesses will sing, dance and entertain all the guests while mingling at each of the tables. Soup Sunday at the Statehouse Convention Center: Little Rock’s Soup Sunday is a fun and casual fundraiser for Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. The Wally Allen Ballroom will be lined with some of central Arkansas’ most delicious soups. Peruse silent and live auction items and enjoy live music throughout the evening.
