Central High School was home to one of the most prominent examples of desegregation in the country. In 1957, the Little Rock Nine enrolled at Central High School and were initially barred from entering by the governor.

This piece of history is particularly relevant during Black History Month and the Ron Robinson Theater will host a free screening of "The Ernest Green Story," a Disney TV movie about one of the Little Rock Nine, at 6 p.m. on Feb. 15.

The 1993 movie stars Morris Chestnut as Ernest Green. The movie was filmed at Central High School and even premiered there with an introduction by then-President-elect Bill Clinton.

This free event gives families a chance to enjoy a movie while learning about the history of Central High School. Register online and then print your free tickets. For more information, call (501) 320-5715 or visit the theater's website.
