Today's society focuses on creativity in children; in school, kids are asked to be more creative as we learn about the role of creativity in learning. Families can feed their kids' creativity at the Laman Library's Creation Station every Thursday at 4 p.m.

One of the library's programmers leads children in creation of a craft or art project. Once a month, the library has a family night instead so check the library's calendar before planning to attend.

A new activity is planned each week and is open to toddlers and older, although toddlers must be accomapanied by an adult. Loose instruction allows for wiggle room with the finished product and kids can end up making something completely different than what the instruction was designed for.

For more information, visit the library's website or call the library at (501) 758-1720. Laman Library is located in North Little Rock.
