6 Events for Weekend Family Fun
Take advantage of the warmer weather this weekend and add a few of these events to your to-do list. Take the family to watch a Disney favorite on stage, celebrate winter with fun science or spend the day at Petit Jean State Park. There's no wrong way to do it.

Daddy-Daughter Dance at University of Central Arkansas: Give your daughter a night to remember at this fun event. The red carpet will be rolled out and each couple will be announced as they enter the dance floor. Tickets include-admission, heavy hors d'oeurves and a flower for every girl. $25 per couple. Sigh Fi at the UALR Gallery: Let your kids experience arth with a contemporary exhibit at UALR. This exhibition changes the entire gallery space with contemporary art and architectural concepts. The exhibit is open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays. For info: (501) 569-8977, ualr.edu. FREE!

Winter Blast at the Museum of Discovery: Spend your day at the museum for fun with Lego sled races, packing peanut snowmen, ice sculptures and more. Have a meet and greet with different museum animals, watch a Tesla show and observe static electricity demos. Museum admission is $8 for kids 12 and under and $10 for adults. Cinderella at the Robinson Center: This Broadway show features an incredible orchestra, jaw-dropping transformations and all the classic moments — the pumpkin, the glass slipper, the masked ball and more — plus some surprising new twists! Eagle Awareness Weekend at Petit Jean State Park: Join park interpreters for two days devoted to the country's national symbol: the bald eagle.
