Students don’t need to wait until high school to start thinking about higher education — at Mabelvale Elementary they’re already planning for the future.

We often ask kids, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” But what about the route to that dream job?

Students celebrated college week from Nov. 14-18 and teachers and staff talked about the benefits of higher education and how it can impact future career choices, according to the Mabelvale Elementary Facebook page.

The week included wearing college apparel as well as celebrating a career day, when students came dressed up as doctors, police officers, athletes and more.
