Getting toddlers interested in theater can be a daunting task, but the folks at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre are making it a whole lot easier! "Tyke and Moppet" is an interactive studio show for toddlers that begins Friday and concludes on Sept. 16.

Toddlers and preschoolers will love the highly interactive, multi-sensory and whimsical journey through friendship as two lovable characters, Tyke and Moppet, explore an exciting new world together. To the accompaniment of live music, theater tots will get to interact with actors and surprise elements as the story unfolds around them.

The show is the creation of director Katie Campbell and actors Geoffrey Eggleston (Tyke) and Aleigha Morton (Moppet). Compared to main stage shows, a studio show is smaller and more intimate to showcase acting and ideas.

Ticket prices are $10 and $8 for Arkansas Arts Center members. For info, visit ArkansasArtsCenter.org/Theatre or call (501) 372-4000.

Show times: Friday, Sept. 9 at 12 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 10-11 at 2 p.m.; Tuesday-Friday, Sept. 13-16 at 12 p.m.
