Community Connections Offers Extracurricular Activities for Kids With Special Needs
Extracurricular activities are not always an easy option for many special needs children. Community Connections is a nonprofit organization that solves that problem by offering free extracurricular programs for kids with special needs and their families.
The activity options include theater, basketball, art, cheerleading, flag football, golf, martial arts and music. Families will also have the opportunity to participate in an educational/support workshop in Conway as well as programs by the Autism Resource Center of Arkansas.
Registration is now open for the activities, which take place in Conway, Little Rock and Russellville. The programs kick off at various times in September and October and a complete program schedule can be found on the website. Parents may register for the various events online as well.
